Vacancy Availability Timelines

  • For how long are vacancies hosted on the site?

    Vacancies on the external portal are hosted for 10 working days inclusive of the start and end dates. However a vacancy may be hosted for only 5 working days if it had been previously advertised.

  • What time on the end date does a vacancy become unavailable for application on the site?

    Vacancies become unavailable for application at 12:00 midnight on the vacancy closing date.

Registration Information

  • How do I Register?

    From the careers homepage, click on “Register” and fill the registration form presented. When completely filled, click on “Confirm” to review your entries. Once verified, click on the “Register” button to submit. You will receive an email in your registered email account notifying you of a successful registration.

Uploading your CV/Resume

  • Can I attach additional documents to my application?

    Presently, provision is made for the addition of two documents namely: an NYSC Exemption letter (for applicants exempted from the NYSC programme) and an MTN clearance certificate (for ex MTN employees where required). Other documents will be verified physically if required during the interview process.

Applying for a Vacancy

  • How do I apply for a vacancy online?

    On the MTNN careers website, click on "Vacancies" on the top menu bar. The vacancies page will be displayed. Select the position that interests you and review the requirements. If you qualify for the position, click on the "Apply" button. Upon a successful application, you will be shown a “Thank You” message and an email will be sent to your registered email account notifying you of a successful application and the details of the vacancy you applied for.

  • What are the areas to watch when completing my application?

    Incomplete or error filled applications will limit your chances of getting shortlisted. Do take utmost care when applying for vacancies.

    As much as possible, ensure that your application is comprehensive and gives sufficient details of your work experience, educational background etc.

  • Can I apply for more than one vacancy?

    Yes you can apply for more than one vacancy BUT you cannot apply twice for the same vacancy.

  • Can I make changes to an already submitted application?

    You can update your application as long as its status still reads "incomplete" or "new". However, once the vacancy closes, you will not be able to access your application any longer.

  • What should I do if I forget my password?

    Click on the “Forget Password” link from the MTNN login page. You will be shown a space to input your email address. Once you have done this, your password will be sent to your registered email address. 11. Q: How will I know if I am shortlisted for a position?

  • How will I know if I am shortlisted for a position?

    Shortlisted candidates will typically be contacted within 2 weeks of a vacancy closing. Candidates who have not been contacted did not make the shortlist. No feedback is given at this stage.

  • Do I need to send my CV to someone in MTNN to support my application?

    MTNN does not accept hardcopy applications. There is no need to send your CV to an employee within MTNN. Your online CV should be comprehensive and contain all necessary information. If additional information is required, an HR personnel will contact you directly.
